Responsible for quotation preparation, order entry and contract administration; assists Sr. Contract Administrators or manager with various administrative duties.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Receive and process RFQ's (Request for Quote) as assigned by the department manager.
Receive and process incoming PO's for assigned customers.
Receive and process contract changes in accordance with management guidelines.
Provide follow up as required on expedited deliveries.
Advises customers of product ship dates.
Interface with other departments on contractual matters.
Physically enters orders into WDS business database and quotations to Access database or seeks services of Contracts Coordinator.
Perform other related tasks as assigned by manager.
Review customer terms and conditions in accordance with the established company procedures and guidelines.
Participates in price and contract terms and conditions negotiations with the customer.
Ability to prioritize and successfully manage multiple tasks to completion. Possess excellent communication skills both verbal and written and interpersonal skills, to support effective correspondence with internal and external customers. Proficient in the use of MS Office software such as Word, Excel and Outlook
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:
A Bachelor's degree from a 4 year college or university with a minimum of one year of experience, or equivalent combination of education and experience preferably in an Aerospace Manufacturing Government and Commercial contracts environment. Related experience and/or training will be considered.
